Turn the printer on. Lift up the cover on your printer. You will here the cartridges moving, then they will stop, in your case, i guess in the center, but if not, just look and you will surely see them (they may be either in the center or on the left or right end of the printer). Then just put your hand on the cartridge and gently pull down. You will not break anything, promise :)

Replaced the ink in stylus sx 125 with genuine epson ink ... and now wont print at all

Perhaps try accessing the menu using the press the index sheet button and the scan button at the same time, you then get setup menu. use" >" to select "change ink cartidge". the ink cartidge carriage will move to the opening position. lift the grey plastic clip at the back, and it will open towards you. then pull out the ink by holding with thumb and first finger and rotating towards you. insert the ink again by pushing in and rotating away from you. close grey cover. now confirm ink replaced as per screen prompt. the machine will run the ink to the print head, takes a minute. then turn off and on and it 'should' work.

Hy everyone.I've got a problem.I am having canon pixma MP190 and when i click "Print" the printer shows "The following ink cartidge cannot be recognized : Color".Please i need help !

antonyo,

is there an error code, i know with cannon it has to be there cartidges or you will get and error code( as in a #) now i also remember that on a canon both cartidges have to be in machine and in the correct slots and in a tight position. try hitting ok on printer and see if it prints even though you get an error message that would tell me it is bypassing the ink cartidge and then if i were you go back through the steps i the manual for replaceing an empty cartridge with a new one .

hope it helped

Ink cartridges

you replace them one for one. There is a piece of tape over the new cartridge nozzle that must be removed first though. It should say on the tape or compare new with old.

Dell 924 all in one printer cannot remove low ink warning

Hello,

This happens if you are not using the Dell ink Cartiridges. However there are few work arounds on this issue.

Firstly, Please try to remove cartridges and then clean cartridge slots and make sure that printer is OFF and completed disconnected from Computer. Remove the cable between Printer and Computer while you do this.

After that restart the computer and then try to reconnect every thing and check if this happens

if else, then open the printer properties or printing preferences and locate the option that says Calibrate the cartidges. and do the calibration of cartidges. Calibration is compulsory once if you replace the ink cartidges.

if still fails then reinstall printer software. This should resolve the issue.

Thank you.

C46 printer

I could not find the manual, but I hope this helps:
I'm not sure if the waste ink pads are in the same place as the c45, but i hope this helps.
Locating the waste ink pads was pretty easy. First of all you have to dissasemble the case, then remove the paper slot. To do this you have to unscrew three or four screws (at least in my c45) that keep the paper slot attached to the printer. After doing this you will see the ink pads, they are at the bottom back of the printer. Mine has four of them with an "L" alike shape.
Clean them with plain water, then let them dry a couple of hours until all the moisture is gone.
I advice you to remove both ink cartidges before doing this because an strange thing happened to me.
After removing the ink pads i cleaned the ink pad container (you'll see the little tube that drains the "waste" ink from the cartidges to the pads) then a couple of hours later i found that the container was full of ink!! confused1.gif . And of course, the ink cartidges were almost empty upset.gif
That happened because i didn't remove the ink cartidges before doing the whole process. I have no idea why that happened but probably by removing them you'll avoid that.

Epson resetter software can be found at http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml (the link to download it is located at the bottom of the page)
One last thing, to reset the waste ink counter you have to go to "Protection Counter" menu and then click "Reset Protection Counter".

You may have to copy and paste the link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
