I have the same problem. I've tried the above solution but doesn't work. My JVC UX-A4 has not the Preset button, but only the Auto Preset on the remote control, which is storing all the garbage it wants.
    Thanks for any help

Hi, the usual method is to tune the station, then hold down the preset button you wish it to to be stored under until it does... there will be some indication made of this by the unit. Good luck,if you have any dramas, please hit me back here and I will ehlp you get it sorted. A "FixYa" rating would be great for my advice

Have bought a Technika DAB 109 CRF radio and no instructions. 1. how do I tune it and SAVE to presets 2. How do I set the alarm? Thank you

To set alarm mode :- press Alarm 1 or 2 briefly to swtich between choices of Alarm On-Beep / DAB / FM / Off, keep pressing this alarm button until you get to the mode you want then stop pressing and leave to settle.
To set time: Press and HOLD Alarm 1 or 2 to change time. Minutes will flash first, use dial to change numbers, when you've got to the number you want press jog/select to change hour, use dial to change hour number. If you just leave it alone once you've reached the hour you want it will set where you left it, but...
If you want to specify preset channel/volume/beep tone etc keep pressing jog/preset after setting hour and use dial to set your preferences.

Most times it goes like this:

find your station by manually searching the frequency. When found, press the memory button and in your display the word memory will flash. than press the number you want it stored under and hold it pressed untill the flashing stops.

    Other option:
once station is selected, press the preset number and hold it untill you hear a beep or, if the number flashes on your display, it stops flashing.
often you have the possibility to store aprx 10 presets on 1 band, by seleting the band you get new presets for each band, geeting in total 40 preset possibilities.

Let me know if this solved your problem.

    Hi Dude

Presetting channels for radio stations is generally all the same on most systems. Select the frequency you want and then HOLD IN the preset button you want until it locks to the frequency into the new preset. Good luck, and happy presetting :)
