did you use 39xx series driver? Torn on your PC, insert the CD Driver, plug the usb printer cable in, the PC should detect finding new hardware that is HP Deskjet 3915. When asked to install driver, chose install from CD. Follow the instruction and good luck
Have you check the printer cable thats connect from cpu to printer
Delete all printer driver, access from Start->control Panel->Printer and Fax. Right click to printer icon and delete all printer driver. Turn it off.
Then turn CPU on but not the printer yet.
Then after windows screen completly appears, turn printer on.
If the computer says detect a new hardware, that means a connection
between CPU and printer is fine.
Then instal the software driver from CD. Good luck !
If you are running Windows XP or Vista (not clarified in your post)? Then just start your computer, wait five minutes and connect the printer, without any disk in the optical drives. If prompted by Windows hardware configuration wizard to insert the CD/DVD then do so and only then. Continue with the wizard and all should be fine.
