These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. Most RCA and GE TV sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset procedure is different depending on the model. Try each method until you find one that works: Hold down MENU on the remote and VOLUME DOWN on the TV it?s self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked Hold down the 0 on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN buttons on the TV its self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Hold down GO BACK on the remote and MENU on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Hold down EJECT on the front of the TV and the MENU button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Depending on the model, one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET.

How to turn off child lock without remote control jvc lt-32sh6

Press the "Menu" button to set the lock code for your JVC TV. A padlock icon will appear on the menu display.

Press "Zero" to access the lock code function then use the left and right arrows to select the four-digit number for your code. Use the up and down arrows to move to the next area of the display.

Select the up or down arrow to finish your lock code then use the left or right arrow to save your lock code settings and exit the menu. You can return to this display if you forget your four-digit lock code and set another code.

Write your four-digit lock code down and keep it in a safe, private area.

Select the locked TV channel you desire to watch or want to unlock. A message will appear on the display requesting you to enter your lock code to unlock the channel.
Unlock your JVC TV by entering your lock code on the 10-key pad. The message "Invalid Lock Code!" will appear on the screen if you enter the wrong lock code.

OR

Select "TV" from the menu then select "V-Chip" from the drop-down list on the screen. "Please Input Password" will appear on the screen.

Enter your four-digit password by selecting numbers on the 10-pad that appears on the V-Chip menu display or your remote control. Create a new password if you forget it by unplugging your TV power cord from the outlet then reconnect the power cord. This procedure resets your password to "0000." Enter four numbers for your new password using the keypad on the screen or your remote and select the arrow to advance to the next number. Press "OK" on your remote or select "OK" on the screen to set your new password.
Unlock a TV rating or TV channel by selecting "MPAA" or "TVPG" from the V-Chip menu. Use the up or down arrows to select the locked rating then select "OK" on the display or press the "OK" button on your remote control to unlock it. The MPAA represents the U.S. Motion Picture Association of America rating system, such as "NC-17," meaning not intended for viewers 17 years or younger.

Can't seem to switch to input with the remote or go to any channel to use my DVD player

Hello

Check first if the Remote Control hanset emits infrared rays or not. Infrared rays are invisioblw to us. There is an easy way to check it. if you have a cellphone with camera option, set it to camera mode, and place the remote hanset against its lens about 1 feet away or so, and press each button on the remote control. You can see the infrared indication on the screen of your cellphone.
If it is Ok, just reset the remote control.

You might need to reset the remote: remove batteries and press the number 1 button for at least 60
seconds. Release the 1 button, replace the batteries, and (if necessary) program the remote again.

Check also for

Something might be between the remote and the remote sensor on the component. Make sure there is a

clear path.

• Maybe the remote isn't aimed directly at the component (DVD, TV, VCR) that you're trying to operate.

• Maybe remote is not in TV Mode. Press the TV button so remote will control TV.

• Maybe batteries in remote are weak, dead, or installed incorrectly. Put new batteries in the remote. (Note,
if you remove the batteries, you may have to reprogram the remote to operate other components.)

How to Use the Remote Control to Complete

the Initial Setup

The technical term is "Navigation"- how you move through the

on-screen menus. The method is the same throughout the menu

screens: highlight your choice and select it.

To highlight a menu item, press the arrow buttons on the remote

to highlight one of the items listed on the screen. Use the up or

down arrow button to move up or down. Use the right or left

arrow button to move right or left.

To select the item that you've highlighted, press OK.

Note: Highlighted means that the menu item stands out from other
menu items on the list (appears darker, brighter, or a different color).

Turn on the TV

Press TV on the remote, or press POWER on the TV's front panel.

Note: Pressing the TV button not only turns on the TV, but puts the remote

into TV mode. "TV mode" means that the buttons on the remote control

operate the TV's functions.

Complete the Initial Setup

The menu system in your TV allows the TV's features to work

properly. The first time you turn on your TV, the SETUP screen

appears with Language highlighted. The default language is

English. To choose another language, press the right arrow
button on the remote.

If these doesn't work, the infrared sensor inside your Tv has got damaged and should be replaced. OK.
