    hmmm. ignore my last post.

i think the new batteries which u have got is the real culprit.

either u have bought new batteries of low amps than the old one

else u have got really a very cheap battery

we prefer only alkaline batteries for digital cameras.

go for Duracell, or energizer as our friend told.

Battery charger for olympus sp-320

The SP-320 uses standard AA batteries, disposable or rechargeable. If you want to use rechargeables, you should be able to find chargers at any department, electronics, or office-supply store. You can't use the camera itself as a charger, however.

Olympus sp 500UZ digital camera: the camera eats batteries.

Yes. Like all rechargeable batteries they don't last forever and four years is longer than I'd expect.

Replace them with new batteries. You need a 3v lithium ion CR-V3 and if you're in the UK I highly recommend buying them from the Small Battery Company, but they are widely available. Avoid generic "no-name" brands as good quality examples are not very expensive.

The zoom of my SP-320 is not working anymore. What can I do? Hanno

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

I have an Olympus SP 320 camera, zoom error comes up and it shuts off

I just pulled my 320 out after not using it for 4 months and the lens extended and zoom error began flashing on the screen. After reading a few other post on the net about how much it cost I decided the camera was a goner. For good measure I banged it on my mouse pad a couple times and the lens suddenly retracted and it is now working fine. Doubt it will work very often but might be worth a try. Make sure you hit it on something soft to prevent other damage.
