Dnby dishwasher slow...

The dishwasher will not operate at the regular speed. There is nothing blocking the arm from rotating. It will in fact rotate at regular speed momentarily, a few seconds, do a top up of water and then rotate very slowly. Curious as to what to do...

There is no motor running the arm in this model... Plain water pressure coming out at an angle spins the arm. Most common causes would be either a restriction in a line inside the dishwasher (Most of them are clear and it's not very hard to spot the obstruction) or it could be an arm that does not spin freely enough for the water to make it spin.

Hmmm..empty it entirely...check for any obstructions, and then, you'll need to have a service professional look into it..sounds like it's motor for arm

Indesit di620 dishwasher not spraying water from arms

Hi, you may want to try looking at all the holes in the spray arms. If you see anything blocking a hole, use the tweezers and remove the stuff.
Remove the bottom spray arm and check for items in the water delivery hole.Check the lower spray tower that is connected to the bottom rack. Make sure all rotating parts rotate properly. Look underneath to make sure nothing is stuck in the tower. Remove any stuff stuck that is preventing rotation or clogging the tower.

Frigidaire Model FDB780RCB0 I am getting water in the machine but it seems the arms are not turning what can I do to get that fixed?

The pump in the dishwasher is supposed to provide enough water pressure to turn the spray arms and make them rotate. The pump is faulty and not giving enough pressure or the arms are stuck.
Try spinning the arms, if they rotate smoothly, you will need to replace the pump.

Dishwasher won,t clean dishes ontop rack

Make sure the top rack is pushed back all the way to connect with upper sprayer arm water port. Also make sure nothing is preventing either sprayer arm from rotating and there is nothing blocking the sprayer arm holes, like seeds or pieces of plastic debris. Also make sure your water heater temp is hot enough.

When I turn on the dishwasher, the sprayer does not turn. There is nothing blocking it or restricting the movement.

Check that the arm outlet jets at the trailing end of the arms are not blocked with food particles and other solid matter. This often happens and the arm is unable to turn because the water jet that is supposed to drive the arm does not have the force to rotate it.

The top arm will not rotate.Have checked to make sure that no holes blocked and arm rotates freely.Bottom arm works ok

Check the transfer pipe that takes water to the top arm, it could be cracked, loose, kinked or blocked. Try back pressurising it from the top rotating arm attachment pipe. This will give you an indication where a leak could be or blow out a blockage.

Top spray arm does not rotate, is mechanically

try checking the water holes in the arm, as when they spray out the arm turns. If they are blocked in any way it does not turn, try using a needle to check they are clear.

LG LDS5811WW Low pressure out of spray arms

On the LG LDF xxxx dishwasher family, the Vario feature uses a motor/check valve to switch between "full power" cleaning from _either_ the lower or the upper spray arms, never at the same time. So, not seeing the upper arm spin during the lower arm spinning is standard operating procedure.

But back to your problem. Step one would be to remove the filter assembly again and make certain that there is nothing (debris, broken glass) blocking the white areas where the check valve rotates to switch between upper/lower spray arms. A blockage there ~could~ cause impotent spraying/cleaning.

If there is no blockage and the impeller remains in good shape, suspect a failing wash pump motor. Try to isolate the noise to that motor.

Watch for error codes on the display and report back what you find, OK?

Good Luck!

The rotating arms don't work

problem may be the spray arms blocked and this is not always apparant. they only rotate with water coming out of angled jets at the end. worthwhile taking the spray arms off, run water into the centre hole and see if anything comes into view
pump is an induction motor so normally would run at constant speed.

The dishes no longer get clean even though the water is getting through....are there filters I need to clean or could the soap dispenser be a problem....please help

there are filers in the inside bottom of the machinbe which should be taken out and cleaned regularly.
problem may be that the spray arms are not rotating. open the door when in cycle and check each arm rotates(you will get a bit of water out)
if they are not, the problem is probably debris in the arm so take them out and clean (this is quite tiresome to do and the usual culprits are rice and sweetcorn)
the arms only rotate by water sqirting out of angled jets at the end of the arm and if these are blocked then arm doesn't turn
