Question about Computers & Internet
I have a Xerox XC1044 Copier. Turned copier on yesterday and received Error Code H3. Copier will not operate and can't extinguish H3 error code. Appreciate any assiistance in resolving this condition.
SOURCE: Copier reset procedure.
It seems that the error code 541 (which indicates a problem with the heating unit thermistor in the machine), cannot be reset by the user for safety reasons, ref;
This error requires service support from your local authorized dealer or original point of purchase. You say that you've verified the functionality of your fuser unit; then a authorized Savin printer technician will probably just have to reset the error code of your copier.
Hope you find this info helpful in solving the problem and thanks for using the FixYa service

Press "Additional Functions", press "#", then press the "Right Arrow" button till it says, "Printer", then press "Set" then press the "Right Arrow" button again until it says "Printer Reset" then press "Set" again, the display will ask you "Yes" or "No". Press the "Left" arrow for "Yes", then press "Set". Now, unplug the power cord and wait 5 seconds and plug back in. If this don't work, get a new fuser.

SOURCE: I BOUGHT A USED RICOH
SC456 = Paper transfer unit position error.
Open the fron cover, make sure that all levers are in the correct position, and make sure that all covers (Sides and front) are closed.
If the error persists, it means that that there is a dirty/faulty sensor, and you should call out the repairman to have a look.
