Connecting coax to my DVD/VCR combo
For the DVD portion, you need to use either composite, component, or possibly S-Video or HDMI. DVD players do not utilize coax, since they do not incorporate tuners. However, since you have indicated it is also a VCR, it should have a coax input/output for that. perhaps it is a player only and doesn't have a tuner? But I have never heard of this in a combination unit. At any rate, if it truly does not have a coax input, then you will have to leave the coax connected directly to your TV and use the above mentioned connections between the home theater, TV, and DVD/VCR unit. Audio between the DVD/VCR and home theatre, and video between the DVD/VCR and TV
the tuner works the speakers work but if i plug in tv, dvd or tape it will pass through the picure but no audio
