Bosch Dryer squeaking noise

When the dryer is in reverse drying mode, there is a squeaking sound as if some form of lubrication is required. I cannot seem to be able to get at the spot where the squeek is coming from but it s/b the motor. Is there an owners manual online to help me take apart the dryer?

I have not seen any service manuals online. The squeak will possibly be a rubber bush used to silence the machine. If you get it stripped down you should be able to locate the squeak by carefully applying pressure in different areas and the squeak should go... then hopefully you will have found the culprit.

We also have a bad squeak in our Bosch dryer that drives you crazy. The Bosch serviceman when he came to look at the problem said his own machine did the same and he gave up trying to fix it, cheaper to put up with the noise. I purchased Bosch because I thought it was one of the best, I will not be buying Bosch again!

Squeaking sound in dryer at the beginning of each drying cycle that for the most part goes away after 5-10 minutes.

you could have a rusted idler or drum roller. need to take dryer apart and look at them. use mineral oil or special bearing oil to lubricate it.

Asko TD 70 intermitent squeaking replaced belt and brushes about 2 yrs ago maybe a loose roler or replacement or lubrication?

For intermittent squeaking-

You have to remove the back of the dryer and expose the motor and drive assemblies.

Check the drive belt idler pulley
Check for any strange sounds coming from the motor
Check the drum support rollers - they support the dryer drum, usually in 3 places. They can sometimes be lubricated, but generally don't last that long because there is usually roller shaft damage by then, requiring replacement.

While drying for short time the dryer starts to squeak

Probably a dry bearing
.You would have to gain access into the dryer to establish which bearing/s it is.
You would then need to see if lubricating the bearing/s, would cure the squeak..
If it does not, then you may have to fit a new bearing/s.\
Hope this helps.

My dryer is squeaking intermittently while drying.

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS
Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication

If you have a front loading machine,

Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer.
Be REAL CAREFUL not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch. Then remove the top of the dryer.
Remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt. Remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm pulley and motor.
Now is a good time to check the belt to see if it has slipped off of the idler arm pulley and also check the belt condition for wear.
Be sure to note the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt.
Check your drum rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them replace them.
If the drum rollers don't have flat spots on them then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve your noise problem.
I will include these two websites for parts and further help:

Both also have chat assistance 24/7.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Constant squeeking while drying clothes

It's most likely the roller bushigs/axles which need lubricating -- they've probably not failed yet, but will if ignored.

They squeak more when clothes are wet because of more weight.

I'd also lubricate the motor while your in there.

When dryer is on it continually makes squeaking sound

You need some lubrication inside the dryer. There are several pulleys and a belt tensioner that can be noisy if not properly lubricated. Be careful to use only an approved lubricant to avoid a possible fire hazard.
