Problem with Panasonic KX-TG6052B Phone
Can't get Talking-Caller ID to turn off?
I don't know if the caller ID is stuck on or not. It is prgrammed to be off. We don't have caller ID service. The base unit has alot of static (clicking and popping) coming thru the speaker whether or not the hand set is in use.

To turn the talking caller id off go to the menu press 0 then * then 4, then press 0 again to select off.
to turn the ringer on the handset back on, go to the menu, prees 1, 1, then press 1 for a low ringer, 2 for medium and 3 for high.
You have to turn the talking caller id off on the handsets and also turn it off on the base. to turn talking caller id off on the base unit: use one of your handset and press menu, #*162, and select off (0).

Guest I have a Panasonic KX-TG6071B. I've tried everything to turn off the talking CID. I can't shut it up. I have turned it off, but it keeps right on announcing.
