This same problem happened to me. basically it is the same problem you would have if you got the red ring of death. its a hard drive failure. unfortunatly because it didnt trigger the red lights, microsoft dosent cover this on warranty. your best bet is to find someone locally who can possibly fix it or just get a new one. sorry to say but your xbox is dead

Xbox - no picture - originally the screen went green then no pic

the cable between the monitor and the console might have gone faulty or in rare case the inlet where you plug in the cable on console or monitor might have loosened up.check properly.

if everything looks fine then the inner control board will be faulty and have to be replaced.

This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.

Hello my name is steve

1. Make sure the Cable is properly connected to the back of the Xbox.

2. Make sure the Cble is properly connected to the inputs on the TV (Color coded if using component or composite cables).

3. Look on the large part of the cable where it plugs into the Xbox. There is a switch with two settings: HDTV and TV. If using the component cables (Green, Blue, Red + White Red), turn the switch to HDTV. If using the composite cables (Yellow, White, Red), switch it to TV.

4. If the problem persists, contact Microsoft at 800 4MY - XBOX . It's a toll free number but it isn't 24 hour.
