Question about EnGenius EOC-3220 (EOC3220)

1 Answer

192.168.1.1 unreachable I tried to reset to factory default by a nullmodem cable with the same result. The network is configured right. If I try to connect via wireless I see the SSID: 802.11g but it's impossible ti surf anyway. I tryed RTLAPConf.exe tool that discover IP looking the MAC address but can't find any device. I think that the web server inside the system is out. When I try to connect via hyper terminal ( null modem cable) I can reach the linux sh ( shell) were it's possible to send some commands ( like flash reset, ifconfig... ... ) Maybe It's possible to re-flash the firmware by null modem cable on hyper terminal... I don't know. Please help me. Thank YOu in advance and sorry for my bad english.

You can use the "ifconfig -a" to see the ip addresses of all network adapters. but i'm wondering what happened to the user interface that showed a list of options to choose from.

Unable to login to WAP4410N using web based administration utility after factory reset. it's reporting as invalid username or password

Please see the Reset the Default Factory Setting please read it the Detail I have a WAP4410n wireless access point, I have reset it to factory default by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds. I am able to ping its default ip 192.168.1.245 through its default ssid "ciscosb" if I configure my static ip was solved by connecting through the lan cable, and setting manually the ip to 192.168.1.0/24 network, and accessing 192.168.1.245 through web, the reason why the connecting through WiFi was working because the management web access through wireless is disabled by default
Thanks

I want to factory reset my nortel AP 7220, how do I reset? What would be default IP after reset?

There is probably a reset button somewhere on the device, it is probably a small pinhole that you put a paper-clip into the reset.
If it has its own http web page, there is likely a reset to factory defualts option.

The ip of the computer connecting to it should not change.
On a computer connected to it, open cmd start>run then type in cmd, and type 'ipconfig'.
It will display details about your connection. Where it says 'default gateway' is the ip of the device.
You could try to put the ip in your browser and see if the device has a web page.

The router was reset. So, our AP does not work with it anymore. I reset the AP to restore it to its factory default settings and tried to follow the steps I made before in configuring the AP. but i can't...

Before you configure this device, note that when the AP is configured through an Ethernet connection, (via RJ45 Network Cable) make sure the manager PC must be set on same the IP network. For example, when the default network address of the default IP address of the AP is 192.168.1.1, then the manager PC should be set at 192.168.1.x (where x is a number between 2 and 254), and the default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
Open Internet Explorer 5.0 or above Web browser.
Enter IP address http://192.168.1.1 (the factory-default IP address setting) to the address location. Please refer here to the Latest User Manual for Encore ENRWI-G Page 9 onwards describes the login details.

Hope this Helps!

How do I reset WAP4410N router back to factory defaults ?

There should be a reset button to the right (the back facing you) of the antennas on the back, press that for 10 seconds to restore back to factory default. You may also go into the the web based control panel of the router and set it back to default.

When you push the reset button, you reset the network configuration to factory default. Now you have to reconfigure the unit to re-establish the network routing and addressing for your home network, the same way you configured it when you first got it. Its default address is either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2, depending on whether it was in bridge or AP mode when you reset it.

Configuration page doesn't load

1. can you ping the router? go star>run>cmd and type ping 192.168.0.50
if the ping times out or says it's unreachable, check your network connections (cables are fully seated and there leds are blinking properly)
2. try to type 192.168.0.50 on the address bar and hit enter, did you change the ip address on the router before?? if you did and can't remember what ip address you gave to it you may need to reset your router.
3. try the same ip address in another browser (IE, chrome, firefox), Make sure your browser has Java, JavaScript, or ActiveX enabled. If you are using Internet Explorer, click Refresh to be sure the Java applet is loaded.
4. are you using the right the correct user name and password? enter 'admin' (lower case) and hit enter or the password you may have configured, if you can't remember what that was reset your router.

you router's manual can be downloaded from here

good luck

Can't connect to configure password for linkys wcg200 ver2

It`s a Linksys or a Dlink?
Use IE (some router reffuse other browsers)
Enable java on your browser.
Check router default address with user manual
If still cannot open: Reset Router to factory default.
Connect using cable and setting your PC on same subnet.
If no connection consider a possible firmware corruption (=repair shop OR new device).

Netgear WG602 wireless router,

Hi, Assuming that the WG602 is fully operational, when you did a hard reset, the router reverted to its original factory setting as you posted. The default pre-configuration: act as a DHCP client; if the WG602 does not find a DHCP server on the Ethernet LAN, it defaults to this IP configuration: DHCP Client - Enable IP Address ? 192.168.0.227 IP Subnet Mask ? 255.255.255.0 Gateway ? 0.0.0.0 Your PC need to be connected via a LAN cable to one of the Ethernet ports of the AP/Router to be able to configure it again to your desired network settings. Further it is necessary likewise to manually configure the connected PC's networking configuration to match the router. Manually configure your PC's IP Address to 192.168.0.228, Subnet Mask ? 255.255.255.0, Gateway - 192.168.0.227. You can now try configuring the router through its web interface (192.168.0.227). This is better explained in the user's manual available at the Netgear site ( Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
