The problem I am having:
The dishwasher will fill with water and go through all of the cycles, and drain properly, but will never activate neither sprayer arm. From what I have read, I believe this motor has a forward and reverse. I direction is to drain water and the other is to pump water to the sprayer arms?? Is the motor "shot" or could there be a solenoid or something, that is not switching somehing over??
The 3 symbol on the face control panel light is on and starts flashing anytime you push any other button, and is full of water in the bottom of it. My wife says she stopped the washing cycle a couple of days ago but now it wont start back up.
This is a Maytag series 200

Have you tried tighten the spray arms? They may have come lose at the fittings so need to be tightened up. You can normally tighten them with your hand. Take any traps/filters out of the dishwasher and clean them. You may find answers here: https://www.maytag.com
A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual
reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point
where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household
drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the
hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting
the dishwasher again.
Many dishwashers use a drain valve with an
electric solenoid. When electricity flows to the solenoid, the valve
opens and diverts the water to the drain. Sometimes the solenoid, or
the diverting lever, sticks and prevents the dishwasher from draining
or filling properly. Try to free up the solenoid to lubricate the
lever. Otherwise, you may have to replace the solenoid or pump
assembly. With these systems, the motor always rotates in one
direction. When it's energized, the drain valve diverts the water.
dishwashers simply reverse the direction of the motor to drain the
dishwasher. These units don't have a drain valve. Instead, there's a
drain hose connected directly to the pump housing.
It is not the dishwasher. The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.
Your problem is: You have a maytag quiet series 300. When it is done with any of the cycles in leaves about 1-2 inches of water in the bottom of the dishwasher. You can manually hit the start button twice and it will go through a 2 minute cycle and pump out the water. You have cleaned the filter inside the dishwasher where it drains and have checked the hose to the disposal and it pumps out fine. It just doen't pump itself at the end of the cycle.
It sounds like a bad control board. It's in the top of the door panel. I don't recomend this repair to the average homeowner. You might consider the Repair Directory to find a repairman.
