If your IFB dishwasher is a Neptune DX model, Error code F5 according to the owners manual is "Inadequate water supply"
Inadequate water supply • Make sure the water input tap is totally open and that there is no water cut.
• Close the water input tap, separate the water input hose from the tap and clean the filter at
the connection end of the hose.
• Restart your machine, contact the service if the error resumes.
Your dishwasher should never be connected to a hot water tap.
Every dishwasher has its own Heating element. If you connect it to a hot water tap you may eventually damage the inlet valve which has sensitive plastic components in it and may even void your warranty if your installation manual suggests Cold water connection only.
Dishwasher must be connected to a hot water line in order to work properly. Also, it often requires a good deal of time for hot water to make its way from the water heater to the dishwasher. If the dishwasher is located under the kitchen counter, turn on the hot water in the sink until it runs hot, then start the dishwasher.
Many dishwashers have a built in heater, but hot water should be initially fed into the dishwasher through the water inlet in order for it to perform properly.
The issue may lie with the door latch; a door switch is used to start and stop your dishwasher. It's a safety feature that won't allow water to flow with the door open. With a faulty door switch, there is a chance your dishwasher won't start at all. Dishwasher door switches are about an inch long. They are usually black but can be red. There are metal prongs on the body of the switch called terminals. Some door switches have two terminals and some have three. If your door switch is OK, check the timer assembly. This controls when and how long power is sent to other controls on your dishwasher. If these controls don't receive power, they won't work. The timer assembly contains a motor. Check this motor as well. It is often cheaper just to replace the timer motor rather than the complete assembly. My last suggestion is to check the cycle selector switches. These switches indicate cycles for washing, drying, and setting the temperature of the water. If one of your switches is the problem your dishwasher may not start. Dishwasher cycle selector switches tell the timer which cycle to run by opening and closing electrical circuits. Most selector switches are six to eight inches long. They are usually black and have terminals. By testing each one of these parts with an ohmmeter you should be able to determine why your dishwasher is not working. It is possible for other parts to fail but these are the most common parts to check. If any proves to be ineffective, I strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
Under the sink or pantry counter, follow the hot water pipe or hose that supplies the unit, to the hot water pipe that supplies the sink's taps, you should find a valve, make sure it is opened.
HI. This is a water inlet valve issue. I recommend testing this device. it may be faulty.
To access the inlet valve remove the lower panel located beneath the door. The panel is usually held in place with two screws either above or below the panel. It may be necessary to first open the door to the dishwasher to reach the screws over the panel, then close the door to remove the panel. The water inlet valve can be identified by the water hoses connected to it. One hose will lead from the valve to the pump/motor assembly in the center of the dishwasher. Check that the hoses are securely connected to the valve and that there are no kinks in the hoses which could restrict water flow. There are two wires (four, if it has two solenoids) connected to the water inlet valve. Label the wires and connections so that you can properly reconnect them later. The wires are connected with slip on connectors. Firmly pull the connectors off of the terminals (do not pull on the wire itself). You may need to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the connectors. Inspect the connectors and the terminals for corrosion. If either is corroded they should be cleaned or replaced. Use a continuity tester or multimeter to test for continuity. Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1. Touch one probe to each terminal. A reading of infinity indicates a bad solenoid that must be replaced. Different brands and models will have various measurements, but the valve should show some resistance if it is functioning properly. If your valve has two solenoids, test the second one in the same way as the first. Replace the valve if it fails the test.
Did you have this problem before replacing the solenoid coil or it start after ?
In case it started after solenoid coil replacement, its look like you did something wrong while assembling it back.
Disconnect Dishwasher power cable and close water tap - remove the selenoide coil, clean the valve from scale or other dirt and check that you placed all parts back properly (spring,gasket...).
