Ice maker was making noise then stopped working

you will have to access back of fridge to see if water hose is connected or may have come loose! I think has to do with water not entering ice cube tray. Noise was probably no water entering?

Water leak on back wall of my freezer and a hell of noise from my icemaker when on

Water leak and noise are due to wrong temp setting or malfunction of defrost cycking.Keep temp setting between 3 and 5 degree centigrade. Due to over frosting, the freezer fan fan hits over the ice and working to cool fridge compartment. And also check defrost timer, and heaterworking properly to defrost in time. And if your ice maker is making sound, due to:
  • You will hear a buzzing sound when the water valve opens to fill the water reservoir for each cycle.
  • Rattling noises may come from the flow of the refrigerant or water line. Items stored on top of the ice maker can also make noises.
  • The high-efficiency compressor may make a pulsating or high-pitched sound.
  • Water running over the evaporator plate may make a splashing sound.
  • Water running from the evaporator plate to the water reservoir may make a splashing sound.
  • As each cycle ends, you may hear a gurgling sound due to the refrigerant flowing in your ice maker.
  • You may hear air being forced over the condenser by the condenser fan.
  • During the harvest cycle, you may hear a "thud" when the ice sheet slides from the evaporator onto the cutter grid.
  • When you first start the ice maker, you may hear water running continuously. The ice maker is programmed to run a rinse cycle before it begins to make ice.
Hope, it's helpful>

No water to the ice maker

Check that the pipe that fills the ice maker is not iced up. Also check that the solenoid on the back (where the waterline hooks up) is making a humming noise when the ice maker calls for water.

Ice maker is not making ice. Water dispenser is working. It sounds like it is trying to make ice (clicking noise).

the first thing to check is the fill tube and make sure there is no frozen water blocking the tube.if there is no water blocking the tube then make sure you water fill valve is good you might have to replace the ice maker itself.

Fan makes noise on LG lsc26905tt. defrosted and

Sounds like ice is building up near the fan blades. Try defrosting it longer to melt out all the ice and see if that helps.

The ice maker is working alone, and makes a noise.

does it have a lever that you can lift up and turn it off since you are not using it to make ice.this will eliminate the noise which is trying to add water but you don't have the water line hooked up to it or your water solonoid is not letting water feed yhe ice maker tray. good luck, hope this works.
