Question about Hitachi 50SBX78B 50" Rear Projection Television
Well jumping has nothing to do with lamp so called bulb.
You have what I would call a cold solder joint.
You're going to have to open the set and tap gently to see were it is comming from. If you know anything about soldering they you will know it is not that easy.
Once you think you have found the place were it seam's to be the place were it make's it jump more often, start again to make shure that's the spot and not the hole area.
Then remove the board and resolder,
