Can't get solid line when drawing in Photoshop

When I try to draw a straight line, I get a series of circles that are sometimes more solid and increasingly broken up as I speed up the line. Is this a mouse setting on my laptop that needs to be changed?

Go to help in photoshop and type "brushes" and find the brushes menu. theres on option on there where you can make a series of circles so just turn that off

Try updating or reinstalling the driver for your pen tablet. Also try cleaning the tip of the pen and also the slate. By the way, don't use alchohol to clean it. Use recommended cleaning solutions like the ones used for LCD monitors.

Hope this helps! :D

I'm getting the same problem - for some reason it's removed all pen pressure sensitivity recognition from the tablet. I'm going to try re-installing the drivers tonight, I'll get back to you if I figure it out.

I also solved the problem by installing the driver from the website. The trick was to uninstall the old driver first.
