Question about Hawking HWREG1 Repeater
Even when i get the ip config off of cmd it is still not the correct one
Check to see if your windows machine is on the same subnet (255.255.255.0) as the extender. Had this problem with my mac, when I had the DHCP assign my ip address, it set the subnet to 255.255.0.0, and for some reason this setting would not allow me to connect.

All i know is when i ask my windows to automatically conect to hawking network it says my ip address does not match the devices. I try to reasign the ip address and it falls. I think the problem is i have windows vista and the device is not compatible with my windows. I tryed downloading a Ralink a ware up grade or something did not seem to help. I am ready to give up and just take the product back lol.
