Hi, my insignia sport MP3 player is frozen in mid song, wont play, allow me to switch to a different mode, or turn off no matter how long I hold the power switch. Is there a way to reset it or fix the problem without loosing all my songs?
Ok well i have had the same problem.
the only answer that i have found so far, is to either let the battery just die, (because it will just die, and turn off, and you should be able to turn it back on) or, you can open up the battery, take it out, and put it back in. that worked for me.
another thing, is you COULD try to hook it up to the computer, but i am not sure that fixes it. but you can always try. hope i helped!

If your subscribtion to rapsody (or best buy, whatever they call it) digital music store ran out it will do that to any song you got from the store until you renew your subscription. Try putting a song on there that you own (you didn't download from rapsody) and it should play. I wouldn't bother renewing the subscription though, the store has a poor library (I couldnt' even find don't worry, be happy). Just download your songs from limewire
i been having problems with my insignia the 3rd month i got it witch been i exchange about three times if i were u ill go and return it and get another name brand insignia sucks!!! my wont play the songs and best buy wont return it even though i got the 2 year warranty!!!!
the player is confused.. see you might have a lot of songs and with the bluetooth initialized the player cant do every thing at once so it freeze since it is so confused and when it freezes dont keep pressing buttons it gets more confuzed. it happened to me once and i just reset it and it worked. so try not to do every thing at once the player is not a computer.
Insignia mp3 players are a little buggy in that they occasionally get file system problems that cause strange things like this to happen. First backup your songs from the mp3 player, and select "erase internal memory". That actually reformats the memory. Then put your songs back on the mp3 player. If it still doesn't work, please advise.
