Question about Sharp Aquos LC-46D62U 46 in. LCD HDTV
The closed caption has been working great until a few days ago. It is now not readable such as the letters are jumbled up. We have Direct TV and the closed caption works fine on the other televisions we have but we have been unable to determine how to make it readable on the Aquos HD model (LC52D62U). This model was not in your drop down product listing so I had to select the 46 in. in order to submit this question.
Try doing the Factory Initialization (WARNING: THIS GIVES YOU ACCESS TO THE SERVICE MENU. DO NOT ADJUST ANYTHING IN THE SERVICE MENU OTHER THAN WHAT I PROVIDE YOU IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS. IF YOU DECIDED TO ADJUST ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT I PROVIDE YOU IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS, I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING WRONG HAPPENS TO YOUR TV.)
This puts the TV back into the “fresh out of the box” settings. See if this helps with your CC problem.
