Paper won't feed

I see tons of people have had this problem. my paper refused to feed. very frustrating.

Check to riffle the paper..then also make certain it's placed well inside the tray..doesn't take much to make a printer unhappy.

also, maybe you are due some new drivers? get em here

Printer worked fine. now picks up tons of sheets


A lot of people soon forget to "rifle" the paper before placing it into the bay. This helps prevent the paper from sticking during feeding. Just treat the paper like a book, and flip through the pages.

Paper won't feed. It's in the back stand up area


i have had this problem with a few Lexmarks. try a lighter weight paper or lessen how much your loading into it. also make sure nothing is in the bottom of where you load the paper (example: there is a pencil in there and the paper is sitting on the pencil) If its new take it back and exchange it. when it loads the paper the bottom of the tray tilts forward. that may be faulty.
