You have to install the SATA driver from your Chipset. So find out your Chipset Model and go to the manufacturers site from there you can get it.

Download the driver and uninstall your old one after making re-boot install your new one.

For example I have Intel(R) ICH8 Family board and got my driver at this link (click here).

I think it will help you to fix your problem

Repair isatap drivers windows 7

if the drives are working, leave it be. There can be false positives. If the drives are slow or some thing else is odd, try the following solutions. Try to locate the driver needed by going to system devices and looking for a yellow or red icon next to a device. If there are no marked devices, you are probably ok.
Computer icon, properties, select device manager.
Open the properties for that device. details tab, properties and select hardware id. Copy the hardware id information and google it (sample:IDE\CdRomATAPI_iHAS324___B_______________________AL1A____ trimmed and adjusted becomes IDE\Cd Rom ATAPI iHAS324) Find drivers for that hardware if you can and update. You can also just uninstall the device and click rescan from the device manager menu. It should reinstall.

My computer problem is no come to sound ,,,,

Make sure your computer has a sound card.

1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.? Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers category. If a sound card is listed, you have one installed. If no sound card is listed, You will need to install one.
3. If there is a yellow question mark next to the name of the sound card, there might be a problem. Right-click the name of the sound card, and then click Properties.
4. Click the General tab, and then look in the Device status box to identify problems with the sound card.

Make sure your computer has a sound card.

Make sure your speakers are correctly connected to the computer.

Make sure that the speaker volume is not muted or turned down too low.

Make sure your headphones are not plugged into the line out (headphone) jack of your sound card or computer (unless you want to be listening with headphones rather than speakers). When you plug in headphones, most computers automatically cut the sound to the speakers.

I can't get the computer to recognize that the mp3 player is connected through the cord. I also can't turn it on nor can I move songs from the computer to the player or vice versa.

Try this:

Find your Device manager located in System then chose harware then chose device manager,

With the device now, connect it to your computer and you should see the device manager list refresh. In the list you should see your mp3 player show up. if theres an issue a Yellow dot will show up next to it. simply reclick on the device and either update it or if that doesnt work, right click and uninstall the device then reinstall the device.

it might auto detect the device once uninstalled. Goodluck

How can i tell if my cd dvd drive is stuffed or not programed properlly. I have down loaded update still not wokin Please help

Go to Control Panel....Devise Manager .....find you CD/DVD player on the on it ......there should be a option to replace the DRIVER for this device. If there is a yellow exclaimation point next to your CD/DVD player it is probably bad IF you have installed and reinstalled the programing several times and it still does work. On a rare ocassion Windows Update can fowl a player. Very LAST thing to try is roll back the latest Update. You might also try doing a System Restore to a point before the CD/DVD player went out.

I had installed windowes XP but there is no sound

I suspect a driver didn't 'load' properly. First, right click on 'My Computer', go down to 'properties' and left-click. When Properties screen appears, click on 'Hardware' tab, then 'Device Manager' and look down the list and you will most likely see an exclaimation point next to 'Sound, Video and Game Controllers'. Right click on the appropriate device and choose 'Update Driver'. Follow the default instructions and re-boot your PC. If there was no exclaimation point, it could be a speaker problem .

I can not play audio files

In the windows media player go to > now playing - more options - devices - speakers then changed the audio device to use your soundcard.

Also, uninstall any other players, they usually interfere with each other.
