Question about Acer X193W LCD Monitor
When your computer is starting up, hit F8 and you'll see the safe mode, safe mode with networking, etc. screen...You should see a choice that says "enable vga mode". Select that and windows will start and the os will select a screen resolution for you. After that, everything will work fine...I hope.

Start windows in safe mode, pressing F8 key when required on startup.
in safe mode click on any empty prortion of your desktop (no icons, just background) with right mouse button to recall drop down menu.
Last menu command must be properties, click it.
It will open display properties.
Click settings tab at the top of display property box.
Lower down resolution so that your monitor will work.

Input Not Supported: The Acer manual says to turn on the display BEFORE the computer. That must be done for plug-and-play to recognize the wide screen monitor.

I have an ACER X193W+ monitor and this "Input Not Supported" error drove me nuts as well. Come to find out, the cable was bad. I connected another cable from another monitor and it worked fine. Try changing your cable.
Hope this helps.
