Question about Televison & Video
High pitch noise when TV has been on for over 1 minute. When volume has been turned down, the TV still omits ear piercing noise.
You may want to start by checking for suspicious looking components or hot spots. There may be some Caps faulty in the power supply or Horizontal. Good Luck, Jus004

Sounds like the high pitched noise after warmup is being caused
by either a coil or tranformer which is vibrating (ringing). Next
time it emits this noise try moving the set or tapping on the cabinet and see if it quits singing. If not try flexing the RF connector where the cable is connected. This may flex the main
pc board enough to disturb the problem temporarily. If you verify
that the problem is a singing coil or transformer you'll have to
have the part isolated and either replaced or wedged and glued.
Hope this helps,
