There are two standards, 568A and 568B. As long as both ends of the cable are wired alike, it doesn't matter which you use.

For the 568A:
1 - White / Green
2 - Green / White
3 - White / Orange
4 - Blue / White
5 - White / Blue
6 - Orange / White
7 - White / Brown
8 - Brown / White

For the 568B, just swap the Green pair and the Orange pair.

One tel sigma 2200. No dial tone.

are you using dsl broadband this could interfere . Type of signalling may be a problem. If multi tone or decadic on phone line does not match phone settings but I would expect you hear dial tone. do you have cable plugged into a phone socket it could be a internet rj45 socket. They look the same at the wall especially in an office environment.

Connection

You need the blue with the white stripe and the white wire with the blue stripe. This would be line one for a phone. but if the RJ45 is in use for an Ethernet connection I would not do it, I would just run a new cat 3 wire for the RJ11.

Wiring diagram for sky+hd telephone plug

If the plug is the traditional 3 x prong with a plastic guide thingy. This is known as a 604 male phone plug.
Wires in cable should be
a) green, red, black and yellow ( or just red and green)
red goes on 2
Green goes on 6
Black goes on 1
yellow goes onto 5
Good luck

My KX-T7730 can't display, no tone.

KX-T7730 Phone must be connected with a 4wire line cord. you may be tested it with a 2 wire line connector.because other normal phones only needed 2wire line cords.Just connect a new 4w cord to under socket located to main unit & other end connect directly to the tel;system & see is the phone confirmed OK.
& let me know .Good luck.

Here is what you need. The regular phone has a small (1 inch by 1/4 inch) plug, under the plastic base. That Serial connection will plug directly into the botton of the expansion unit you need to attach. The regular phone runs off of 2 wires (Normally white blue, blue white) And then the buttons will need to be proammed within the system.
