TV turns on with green light, then turns off. When I hold menu and input I get 2-4 with the lights. Any suggestions?
2 - 4 is vertical deflection protect replace the vertical IC or look for bad solder on the vertical IC

Tv will not stay on
If an older rear projection Mitsubishi: When green power light comes on and goes out do the self check for errors.
Press and hold both the input and menu buttons at same time on front of set for at least 5 seconds and release both. Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat it several times. Let me know if you find an error code and I will tell you what it means.
