My Air Condition is only blowing hot air in the front, but cold in the rear. Could anyone give me a start in correcting this problem? Thanks

Possible blend door actuator faulty, or a faulty blend door. This door switches from hot to cold vents. On expeditions equipped with rear AC front and rear AC have seperate actuators. Hopefully this helps!!

SOURCE: Front air condition does not blow cold. Rear air condition does

sounds like a damper door in the front not working properly, these are actuated by the front temp control, the door is operated by either a manual cable, and electric actuator, or vacuum. I hope this helps you zero in on your problem. Merry Christmas

SOURCE: air condition blows hot air but it has freon

You may have created an over charged condition and at this point the a/c compressor will cut off on high head pressures. This can be verified by installing gauges to the systems high and low side service taps and reading the pressures. An overcharged system will start the compressor briefly but soon cuts off once pressure goes to 350 - 400 lbs on the high side. Acceptable pressures for this system should be no greater than 250 high and low suction should drop to 40-50 psi.You might recover the charge and evacuate the system, then try bringing the charge back to proper level.A sight glass in the reciever drier really helps determining proper fill.Once all bubbles have dissipated from the sight glass during charging ,one should stop at that point to avoid overfilling.Too much freon is worse than a low charge especially in hot ambient conditions....

My 2009 Gmc Acadia is blowing hot air in the front and cold in the back. Anyone know what could cause this it is not low on freon.

No it is not low on refrigerant, if that was the case you would not have any cold air front or rear.. There are many reasons for this condition, the system can be tested electronically and then you diagnose the fault shown with a scanner. You need the dealer on this issue.

Front a/c blows cold air but back is blowing hot air

Could be low on freon, a faulty expansion valve on the rear system, or other issues. Can you tell if the rear ac lines are hot and cold ?

It blows out hot air even when the air in the front is cold

Hard to read your question, do you mean it blows cold air out of the front vents and hot air out of the rear passenger vents?

If the air coming out of the front is just cool and not cold, and the rear vents are warm, you have low freon and need to have it serviced.
