Canon? Naughty Canon.
There is no hdd compatibility list / HDFormat files are encrypted > not viewable

Originally these HDD Dewcriptor Files were regular text files which could be edited to add new HDD formats when
necessary. More recently Canon has started encrypting the files to prevent them being edited.

Modifying the HDD Descriptor is out of the question on this series

Canon ImageRUNNER's will require that authentic Canon HDD's be installed should they require replacement. Generic drives may not be on
the list of supported drives for the SST and Canon will not release a list of supported drives.

ACHi drivers/firmware updates are loaded after xp generic driver installation, you only need to have the drivers handy on a floppy during the xp installation for a raid driver array

I have a aver tech 3.5" HDD enclosure i need the drivers for window 7

There are no special drivers - the unit (when it has a disk in it - it won't be recognized without it) will be recognized as a generic Removable Media and will use the generic driver.

After using recovery disks for toshiba laptop satellite l305d i get error message 10-fa12-045d, please help??

Toshiba recovery error seem likely to be due to a failing/failed HDD. If your laptop is in warranty then visit Toshiba service center. Otherwise try this--------> I would like you to try checking the HDD with an error checking program from floppy or CD or with the drive removed from the laptop and tried in a USB external enclosure in another PC.

If the HDD itself is made by Toshiba (which seems likely) you would need a generic testing program since Toshiba don't provide their own HDD checking program.

HDTune can be used from another PC.

Error code 0X80070571 with the external HDD

The Seatools test has verified that the "physical" hardware is working fine, which is good news.

However, the error-message "disk structure is corrupted" means that there is a "logical" problem. Compare it to a book with a Table of Contents that has been overwritten by a two-year-old with crayons;
the pages are not physically torn nor missing, but you cannot "read" the original Table of Contents information.

Connect the drive, and note which drive-letter that Windows assigns, e.g., 'E:'.

Click Start
Click Run
Type CMD and press ENTER
Type CHKDSK E: /F and press ENTER,
and let Windows try to reconstruct the Table of Contents on the disk.
