Take it to the Service center. need to replace the headphone output connector's. these will happen from Moistor,Dirt block or Dry solder in the Laptop Motherboard. best of luck. ( Try, put headphone jack in and out for 20 to 30 times, or check the sound comes out via headphone, when pressing the connected jack.) best of luck
It might be the plug on the headphone that's bad - try it on another laptop. If it's the jack that's bad, then it will need to be taken apart and that's not easy to fix - recommend having a repair shop fix it.
Sounds like your headphones may need to be replaced. I'm assuming they don't work with anything else.
Try cleaning the plug with a lightly dampened paper towel and use a can of compressed air to clean out the jack on the laptop. If that doesn't work, try another set of headphones.
Click start and click control panel, then click on hardware and sound. Click on sound, then click speakers and choose properties. Then from the drop down on the bottom select disable. Should disable the speakers and allow the headphones still.
