Hi
When I plug my Acer AT2001 into my PC the screen divides so that the left hand side shows on the right of my monitor and the right shows on the left of my monitor. The mouse still acts like the screen is normal so it is very difficult to use. There was no driver with the TV do I need to download one?
Please help - very frustrating
I currently own an Acer AT2001 21 inch Television/Monitor. The refresh rate on your computer should be set to 60Hertz. You can change this setting by right clicking the desktop, click properties, click settings, click advanced, click adapter, click list all modes, click 800by600 at 60Hertz. The screen resolution will not go above 800by600. Note; Initialize these settings with an old crt monitor and then plug in the Acer.
Initialize these settings with an old crt monitor and then plug in the Acer. Is what i do, only need to doit on startup from reformat/reinstall, kinda sucks but atleast i didnt have to buy new equipment.
It was at 75Hertz just switched it to 60Hertz, looks great thanks for the advice :D
Hi,
You need to lower down the screen resolution of your PC prior to plugging in the Acer AT2001. The Acer AT2001 maximum/native resolution is 800 X 600. In some instances, lowering the screen refresh rate of the PC might also be required.
Pls don't be surprised if doing so, the icons would be a lot bigger and for some users might be inappropriate for desktop
use. Additionally, it will be very bright.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
