I'm sorry you're experiencing this. This means your system's laser is weak and will need to be replaced. You can open your WII system and clean the laser with a cotton swab (only a drop of rubbing alcohol) and this may help it just a little, But a replacement would be best.

This can be caused by a dirty laser in the drive. Try cleaning the laser with a q-tip and alcohol. If this does not fix the problem, the laser may need to be replaced. Contact Nintendo and see if the unit is still under warranty.
If (1) this error only occurs with the Wii Fit game and (2) you have no scratches or marks on the game disc and (3) you have cleaned your Wii with a lens cleaner product recently; then, most likely the Wii Fit game disc is bad. It's not your Wii.
here's the problem: the wii fit game is 4.7gb. Most wii games are
4.4gb. Burning a Wii game at 2x speed is fine if its 4.4gb.
For Wii games that are 4.7gb (full size of a DVD disc) the games must be burned at 1x speed or errors will occur.
It is likely that Nintendo burned these at 2x
speed and therefore your wii is getting an error due to them incorrectly burning the disc.
Try a cleaning disc. this may fix this issue. if the issue remains, it will confirm a major problem within the optical assembly. you will need to replace the optical assembly in this case. it has failed.
Contact Nintendo for the optical replacement procedure.

If it only does this for this one game, you may have a defective game disc, it happens. Often, if you have just recently purchased it, you can return it to the store and tell them that it was defective and get a new one. If not, you can always try cleaning it though I doubt that's the problem. nintendo.com says "If after reading the above information you are still unable to play
a game disc, please call 1-800-255-3700
to discuss available options."
