Hi trying to locate a substitute or replacement dvd remote for factory 2004 quest dvd system.
I have a 2004 Armada and bought an RCA model RCU403 Universal Remote from Bi-mart for $5.99 that works just fine. I had to do a code search to get it set up. This remote also has code discovery mode that produced 0490 as the code for this DVD player. Its a lot cheaper than getting a factory remote!
I tried universal remote for my Jensen dvd flip down and only have some of the buttons working. Now I am search for another remote that might work for all that I need. Just try one and return it instead of going to the Dealer and spending alot more.

trying to find a replacemant for my lost dvd remote for a 05 quest.any one can help?
I lost the remote to the dvd player in my 2004 Nissan Quest. The local Nissan dealer wants $100 for a new one and I simply will not pay that much. Noone can tell me if a universal will work. Any suggestions as to where I can get a replacement?
