Frigidare r5303b under worktop fridge with little freezer box inside what number should it be on because thermastat does not seem to go off much

Trudy ! If the fridge is new i would suggest you ring the supplier as unit should still be under warranty . If second hand i would suggest calling a refrigeration mechanic as the fault sounds elactrical . Themostat , defrost timer , compressor windings or starter, even a damaged lead could give you the same issue . Hope you have luck with this one !

The bottom hinge needs slackening off, lift the edge of the door in place and retighten the hinge screws; if it's not that loose, a sharp tap with the heel of your hand may bring it back into line

Louise, this is a big area. I would switch off the fridge, look at the back where you see the" box things". You should see a timer which is white or black (wires comming out of it).. It has a short type of knob which can be turned manually clockwise.. Turn about a 1/4 turn then try and switch on again. If not, thermostat will be the problem. Assuming you never disrupted any wires.

There is a fan in this refrigerator between the freezer and the fridge and it is possible this fan has stopped or something has stopped it from running.You will need to get it repaired.
CHeck and see how hot the space between you fridge and feezes is and if it's real hot that's your problem.
It's either dirty or maybe a rodent got into this motor and stopped it from running.

This is normal. This is a defroster to keep moisture from condensation from freezing the doors shut.

Change the thermostat.

the temperature control is bad. when you push the fast freeze it bypasses the thermostat for 12-24 hours depending on which model you have. I am not able to find any parts information with the model number provided but you should be able to find a temperature control at any local appliance parts house or online thru any reputable supplier. Defrost problem. Either defrost heater, defrost thermostat, or defrost timer is bad.
