Generic problem for all Video Game Consoles
I hooked up a HDMI
I hooked up a HDMI cable and worked good the first day. When I turned on the PS3 the next day I get a blank black screen. It looks like the PS3 reads the HDMI connection because the TV screen goes from a blue screen (which is what happens when you don't get a signal) to the blank black screen. Is this a cable problem? If not, what do you think it is?

- Im having the same problem. I think it might have to do with the handshake process. someone else mentioned turning the system on first and then the tv a little later. I will try this tonight and a few other things. - Guest
