Replace the motorized lens and you should be ok. You have to buy a duplicate Parts camera from Ebay to have the part to fix yours.

My PowerShot SD600 Digital Elph camers has taken lots of pictures. But, today when I turn it on, it says card locked! Any ideas on how to unlock this?

Remove the SD card from the camera. Slide the tiny switch on the side of the card to its other "unlocked" position. Reinsert the card in the camera. But if you've already tried this, see this link for additional troubleshooting tips for this problem.

Camera won't power up

You might try cleaning the battery compartment of the camera to make sure that the contacts are not corroded.

Hi

We have exactly what you need listed in our store as a repair package or we can sell you the parts and you can repair it yourself.

We are a digital camera repair business, Google Darntoothysam and you will find us. If you search 'sd600' in the store you will see the repair listing for the problem you have, and I can add a listing for just the parts as well. The repair is only $35 plus about $7 return shipping. This includes any parts you need, the labor and a 45 day guarantee.

If we can help please let us know. Good luck from Darntoothysam com
