Water Pools up in the bottom of our Bosch Dishwasher

After some time of not being used, Water pools up in the bottom of the dishwasher. The dishwasher runs fine.i find that the problem stops when the water is turned off. I was told it could be the valve that needs to be replaced how does one do that without calling someone who wants to charge hundreds of dollars to fix it. Our machine expeiences no other problems. thank you Matt

The water that pools up on the inside is clean and does not smell, I do not have a detailed service manual so any kinda how to go about fixing it would be great,

The way i find a valve on a machine ive never seen before is to follow the inlet hose to the machine then see if the base comes off or the back panel, its either at the back or at the front underneath.hope this helps.

Sure...did you clean out the bottom filter too? the valve is buried inside that machine...you'd need a detailed service manual to perform this work.

Ph level is at 'ideal' chlorine level is at 3.0 but the pool water is still cloudy. Please help?

The cloudiness could be suspended particles or algae. Use an algae k i l l er as recommended, then a flocculant (water clarifier) as recommended, then vacuum the pool bottom and run the filter overnight.

After that check the ph, alkali level, chlorine level, and adjust as needed. That should do it.

Water collecting at the bottom of dishwasher, used it for the first time and there is a big pool of water at the bottom of the dishwasher when i open up the drawer

Your drain might be plugged. Check the bottom drain. If the water has no where to go, it will fill the bottom up. There might be a cap since it is new. It has to have a place to drain.

Dishwasher just doesnt get dishes clean anymore. some food left on dishes. there is always water pooled in bottom of dishwasher, but I've cleaned it out well at the bottom

Check your vacuum breaker. Its some times mounted up on the back of your sink. If it gets stopped up it will cause your dish washer to not drain or clean properly. Good luck.

Water remains at the bottom of the dishwasher

some dishwashers have water left after the final rinse. it is important to keep the motor seals wet between loads. My filter is always immersed. If we go away for two weeks, I put 2 litres of water into the tub and let it soak 24 hr so that I never start it with dry seals.

Dishwasher not pumping water

anti flood mechanism activated in base pan you have a leak once the anti flood is activated in puts the machine into permanent drain thats why it runs even with the door open but only runs the drain pump not the wash pump.
