Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
I have a Toshiba A105-S1013, and it runs on Windows XP. When I turn on the power with both the plug, or a charged battery, the screen with "Toshiba" pops up. The little blue loading bar keeps freezing about 4/5 of the way, and the laptop freezes. It will not start no matter what (I am using my brother's computer to type this). The only thing I can think of is yesterday, a few hours before this started to happen, I slammed on the keyboard a couple of times. It happened after I shut the computer, and when I opened it, this started. I am a total dunce with computers, so please help! A soulution that doesn't require money would be ideal. Thanks a ton! my computer freeze up. although i already re-format the computer the same problem happened again. Does it has anything to do with the RAM? My laptop model spec as per below: Acer Travelmate 2315NLCi window xp 80Gigs HD 256 MB of RAM
Slamming the keyboard would jar the memory on the bottom or under the keyboard, and make this happen, inspect them both, and then restart it..

Tips for a great answer:
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS you can load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
