Smelling carbon monoxide emissions

Please shut down the furnace and find an alternate source of heat immediately!!! In older furnaces the heat exchanger goes bad it will crack or burn holes in it. You need to replace the exchanger and or furnace, there are no ands, ifs, or buts about it. This is nick named the silent killer for a reason people carbon monoxide poisoning is no joking matter. You need to ventilate the house well and get out in to fresh air, signs of carbon monoxide poisoning are light headed, feeling tired and some get sort of sick to your stomach. Look there is no price that can be put on a human life, and I do understand that this is bad timing with the holidays and all, but this problem requires immediate attention PLEASE!!

NO POWER TO TV POWERSPEC TV MODEL V30DMBT TESTED POWER SOURCE AND TURNED POWER BUTTON OFF AND ON

The power supply circuit inside the tv may be bad. Normally a bad capacitor is the culprit. You may visually inspect the circuit (the first circuit connected to the power chord inside) for leaks or swollen capacitor. The entire power supply circuit may have gone bad. Test if there is power coming out of the circuit to verify.

Monitor won't stay on more then a second or two

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed DELL monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Cant tune tv in to use xbox 360

Check the scart lead by substitution, try another source of input, (game machine or dvd player,) it,s not uncommon to find bad solder joints on the print, where the scart socket is soldered to the mother board of the telly. there is no tuning as such for scart sockets, but you can get them in the wrong mode? S-video etc? but you should, in that case, get some sort of picture. Good luck! Nick

We found water on the kitchen floor by and under the dishwasher

Check along the bottom inside of the door if the edge is cut up or has nicks in it from silverware being pulled across it than that is the source of the leak try putting a couple of strips of tape along that edge and run another cycle if it stops leaking or leaks less you have to replace the inside door panel and it will work fine again cost between 20 and 40 dollars depending on where you order it from

Linksys WRTU54G-TM router does not power on

1) Try plugging into a different outlet
2) While plugged in, try resetting with the little button on the back.

If neither of those work (and I don't really expect they will), this means you have a bad transformer, or a bad power supply inside the router. Either one will require you to send it back to Linksys for repair. Sorry I don't have better news for you.
