Question about iLO MP3 Player

1 Answer

Help When I turn it on sometimes instead of saying loading it will pop up as 000099 and it will immediately turn off. I will turn it back on and over half of my songs will play as if on fast forward. I tried to connect it to my computer and it says that the E: drive is corrupted and unreadable. Can anyone help, please?

I was told that i could restart my sansa fuze with the restart buttom, but the problem is that my sansa fuze dont have a restart button

this is work for you;
Press and hold the "Home" button while sliding the power switch on the slide up - not sure how long it'll take (less than 30 seconds) but with headphones on, you will hear a faint "pop" (similar to when you plug in headphones or turn it on with the ear buds in). You can then release both buttons and it should turn on. It will "refresh" it's media list, but you shouldn't lose any tunes loaded.
when Sansa Fuze freezes is hold up the power button for about 2O seconds. When this is done, release and it should say "Goodbye" on the screen. When you turn the Fuze back on it will take only a moment to refresh its memory. Try to wait if you are recording something important though, sometimes it will just start back up again, no harm done!

My sandisk sansa e260 mp3 player is always freezing . when i turn it on it pops out a window that says "refreshing database" . then stops and only load 15% of it .

Hello,

As you may have noticed already, the player can be switched off when freezing and put on again, resetting the device as next:
1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power/Menu button.
3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.

Sometimes a firmware update or reinstallation is required, to get the player function normally again, see:

Message pops up after I turn it on, then it cuts off

Have you tired formatting it? Sometimes Mp3 player contacts virus while putting them in a system that has virus. So maybe you should try to scan it because the file inside might have have virus and maybe that's why its misbehaing. Virus also sometimes occupies space on a drive.

I wish you the best.

My zune froze when I turned it on. It is frozen on the Zune welcome screen with the loading bar at the bottom. I have tried the back and up button and it has not worked. I have also tried the back, up and...

There's a fix:

Your Zune will need a "hard reset."

To do this, use a small screwdriver to pop off the plastic shielding where the Zune cable plugs into and remove the two screws on either side of the plug. Next pop the cover off and locate the battery plug at the top left corner of the Zune, using your screw driver, pop the cable connection half way off, and do this to the other plug on the right side. Wait 3 seconds, then push down the right connector and then the left battery connector. Your Zune should start up immediately. Press the backing of the Zune down (make sure headphone jack is aligned) and put the screws and cover back in place.

It's an easy process but if you're unsure don't attempt it.

Error 000099

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.

Your answer to Archos 404 problem

Aha - that is a different matter. To get the computer to recognize the device: Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

You might want to double-check your Archos manual first - sometimes, instead of Volume +, they reccomend a different button.

Sansa m250 Player -No Screen Display after changing new battery

Get the same brand batteries as the original

Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware.
Wizard.

WMA doesn't detect my Philips GoGear HDD6330 MP3 Player

I have an HDD6330 and instead of using WMP, because it has so many issues, I use Rhapsody free player. It works great, syncs immediately with no issues. It also has easy file transferability.
