my n70 got wet two months ago, i cleaned some oxidations, tried to insert a good, fully charged battery (by the way, the phone is not shorted anymore after cleaning) but still no power. I tried another solution posted here ( *, send, 3 then power on ) still to no avail. What should I do next?

Take your SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.
Yes! I know. You need someone to press the ON button.

My phone will not turn on there is no water damage or any damage

Did you look inside the phone to see if the white dot is red? If it is read then somehow water got inside the phone. If it's still white, you might try a hard reboot. Hold down the power button until it powers off (don't hit the power off button) just hold down the button until the phone is off. Then reboot and see how it does.

Bought a new samsung wave 3 weeks ago went to charge it would not switch on again left battery out for 1full day it then powered up used it for another day or 2 went to charge it same problem.went back to...

Check the water damage indicators on the phone and battery. They are white stickers, and they will turn red if they have gotten damp or wet. Be aware that some phones can get water damaged from condensation, or being in a moist environment like a bathroom.

If the damage indicators are clear, they cannot prove that it has damage and you should take it back and talk to someone else.

My mobile is damage by water how can i solve this problem

Get the Phone Out of the water. Do NOT power it on.
This may sound too obvious a step but a few extra seconds that your phone spends in water can reduce whatever chances you had of saving your phone.
If however your phone has spent more than a few minutes in water try removing the battery when the whole gadget is under water itself .
Powering up the phone when it is wet causes the maximum damage to your phone.

2 Remove the battery and SIM card
Water + battery is a bad combination for your phone. Remove the battery as soon as possible. SIM card too must be removed immediately as water on SIM cards may erase all your contacts stored in the SIM.
3 Dry the phone as much as possible
Try and pat dry the phone, the battery and the SIM card. Using a paper towel is advisable for removing water quickly.
4 Metciulously Disassemble the phone completely
This is one of the most important steps on your phone's path to recovery. If possible take your phone to a local mobile phone servicing shop and ask him/her top disassemble the phone completely for you. Make sure the circuits are not powered up by the shopkeeper.
If you are worried that disassembling the phone will make your warranty/guarantee void you need to know that phones come with Water Damage indicators which change colors with the slightest hint of water. No phone warranty covers water damage.
5 Dry all the phone components with a dessicant
After disassembling the phone immerse each component in a bowl of uncooked rice / silica gel packs. These dessicants absorb water effectively and draw out water from all nooks and corners of your phone. Heating / Vaporising the water is a bad idea cause that would leave salts on your phone's circuitry and cause corrosion and eventual death of your phone. Hence drying with uncooked rice/silica gels where water is removed by absorption is the best option. Leave it there for a couple of days.
6 Show patience and let every component lie under a table lamp for a couple of days
Now your phone is almost on its way to complete recovery provided you show Adequate patience. You may keep the bowl of rice under a table lamp for this duration . Changing the rice /silica gels though not a mandatory step, can be pretty effective and useful.
7 Assemble , Pray and Switch on!

My nokia 7610 phone has been dropped in water

You should detached quickly its battery first. It is to prevent further damage to your unit. And dont try to power it on. Then bring your unit to a cellphone shop to have it dry and clean it for you, they will sometime automatically charge for water damage repair.

For minor damage only battery pack will get damaged. Luckily only cleaning and drying will get it running.

May be the phone was water damaged. This kind of problems normally we see in water damaged phones. If not water damaged then PA (Power Amplifier) may be shorted and need to be changed.
