You must have either ActiveSync (for Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (for Vista and 7). You can download any of them from this location. By the way, you, most probably, know that, in order to have stuff like Calendar, Contacts, Tasks,and e-mail, you must have Microsoft Outlook installed on your PC too.

You doi not need a PC Suite for the i-mate, you only need Microsoft Active Sync for Windows XP. Windows Vista and 7 have it built in

You need to start the Wireless Modem application on your Pocket PC, install the driver provided in the ZIP file below, and launch the HTC USB Modem Dialer. To do that, follow these steps:

1. Download the driver and the dialer software, and unzip them to any folder on your PC. Click here to download.
   
   Perform the next 2 steps while your device is NOT connected to the PC.
2. Go to Start -> Programs -> Wireless Modem.
3. Select USB from the list, and click on Start.
4. Place the device in the cradle.
5. Windows will start the "New hardware found" wizard momentarily. Browse for the USBMDM.INF file that was provided in the ZIP file. Continue the driver installation.
6. Go to the unzipped files folder, and launch USBModem_Dialer.exe. Enter your WAP/GPRS connection credentials, and in the APN field, type the server's name (for example: gprs.provider.com).
7. Press Dial, and you're connected.

if what you are looking for is not available ... then you can be assured that there is no official release of it..... and you would be required to contact imate....
a word of caution ... do not download any third party softwares as it may damage the OS of ur unit...

To get the drivers, you just need to install "Microsoft Active Sync" that you can get from the Microsoft Website if you are running Windows XP on your PC, or "Windows Mobile Device Center" if you are running Windows Vista on your PC.

For the antivirus license expiry, I think you need to get a new copy of the antivirus cause the date has expired.

Resetting Your Pocket PC Phone

Occasionally you may need to reset your Pocket PC Phone. A normal
(or soft) reset of your device clears all active program memory and
shuts down all active programs. This can be useful when the device is
running slower than normal, or a program is not performing properly.
A soft reset is also necessary after the installation of some programs.
If a soft reset is performed when programs are running, unsaved work
will be lost.

You can also perform a hard reset (also known as a full reset). A hard
reset should be performed only if a normal reset does not solve a
system problem. After a hard reset, the device is restored to its default
settings — the way it was when you first purchased it. Any programs
you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on the
device will be lost. Only Windows Mobile software and other preinstalled
programs will remain.

To perform a soft reset

Remove the battery cover and using the stylus, press on the small
button to the left of the battery. Otherwise simply remove the battery,
wait a few seconds and then insert the battery again.
To perform a Hard Reset

Hard reset by pressing device buttons:

1. Turn off your device.
2. Hold down the Send button, End button and Camera button.
3. Do not release Send, End and Camera, press the Power button.
4. After on-screen indication, release all the buttons.

1. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Master Clear
2. On the System tab, select the Master Clear (!) icon
3. Proceed to enter the confirmation code: 1234 and push reset button,
system will auto reboot to complete the operation.

there is no need for drivers for sync u just need active sync installed in WINXP if u dont have active sync install it from www.windowsmobile.com or see if it came with ur mobile in a cd and Windows mobile device centre in WIN VISTA that is bundled in the installation already u just find it by typing in search WMDC or in All programs u can look for it after u launch it just connect ur mobile thru usb cable provided and go in ur mobile pda start>settings>connections>usb connections set ur device for sync not mass storage and then press ok open the active sync software in xp or WMDC in Vista and it will automatically connect ur device then sync ur device as req

The software and the drivers found in the Internet work fine. However, everything works except java installation (failed to install java error). I fixed it changing the set up of the Tx and Rx cables inside the data cable. It´s quite easy. Hope this can solve your problems.
