There are two cases....
1. Either you are using a video converter that doesn't Convert videos to SMV format.
2. Your video format is not the one that matches with the conversion software.

Solution: For the first case, if you aren't using the philips media converter, then i would recommend you to use the converter to convert video files in a format which the player can read.

For the second case, always try to convert the video files to WMV fromat, so that there is better quality of the output, as philips media converter specializes in conversion from WMV format. I hope this solves your problem.

Converted Videos won't play on my Ematic E6 jr

I suggest you try this conversion program and if it works the uninstall the other conversion programs.
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. When I download videos, I get a message that reads"wrong file format". How do I fix this?

Some MP3 players will only display video files with these extensions avi, and wmv.
Check your player's specification for the video file formats that ir uses.
If you dowloaded an incompatible video file, there are video converter programs on the Internet that convert video files to a video format that suits your player.

Music videos cant put them in ipod

step1
Locate videos. There are four main places where you can find legal videos intended for iPod use. The iTunes store (where videos can be directly downloaded) and video podcasts are certainly the most popular, but digital copies from DVDs as well as personal digital videos can also be put on the device.
  • Step 2 Import your videos into iTunes. If you have downloaded the videos from iTunes or have downloaded a video podcast from the service, this step has been done for you (as well as step 3), and you can proceed to step 4. However, if you are trying to put digital copies, or personal videos on the iPod, put all of the videos in a central folder on the desktop. Go to iTunes and select the "Add file to iTunes" to import the contents of your folder to the iTunes program.
  • Step 3 Convert non-iTunes files. iPods only work with MPEG-4 videos, so if you are uploading videos of other formats, such as AVI or WMV, they will need to be converted with the iTunes program. Highlight the videos you need to convert and right-click to pull up a sub-menu. Select "convert" to begin the process. Alternately, you can drag the files into the iTunes conversion queue, which is on the right side of the program. You will see a notice when your files are finished converting.
  • Step 4 Sync your iPod. When your new video files are ready, simply plug your iPod Classic into a USB port and then drag the video files you wish to put on your device over the iPod icon. The icon will then change to "syncing" status. Wait a few minutes while the videos are transferred. Once the icon has changed back to normal, simply press the eject button and unplug your iPod.

  • i recomend the arcsoft media converter 3 for a starter converter it will work just fine for 15 days

My samsung yp-s3 mp3 player wont let me put videos on it

After 2 days of figuring out, I came with the solution today. Most probably your computer is running under windows vista. well emodio doesnt support such to do the transfer. What I did is downloaded a program (free) called "any video converter". All videos have to be converted in WMV extension file, so emodio can recognize and does the conversion to SVI ( the yp-s3 extension). So after you convert the original files into WMV files, take the converted files and add them into emodio. Emodio will convert it into SVI, but the transfer to the MP3 will failed. This is the magic:

close emodio. Leave your MP3 conected. Go to where emodio saves the converted files. When u go to that folder, you will see your files, but you can tell your computer wont be able to play it, as the files icon is just with a white background. Just drag it into the YP-S3 video folder and voila! Disconnect your MP3 from the computer, turn it on and enjoy your videos!!!!!!!!!!
