Just looked up the diagram wasnt real clear as to how to get to the relay. I would imagine that dropping down the front acess panel (angled toward youbeteen the wshe rand dryer) will gain you acees to the compartmant in which its located in the right rear of. However the picture indicated a small acess hole on the rear of hte unit it self that might be a a more feasable entry.(although i believe that this is where the main wiring is located(wasnt pictured)

Maytag dryer se1000 runs for 15 minutes then shuts off

Clean your sensors if you have them. They might have junk on them that could be forming a moisture barrier preventing the sensors from feeling the wetness of them clothes. The dryer may think them clothes is dry because it cannot sense wetness.

Maytag SE1000 Series 07 dryer wont heat

You need to have 220-240 or so volta ACROSS the two terminals on the element...the 125 can feed across and can be the same leg on both sides...

Check out this tip also..

Maytag MDE9206AYW will not heat. What do I need

I assume it is a gas dryer. Turn it on and if no clicking sound is heard within 30 seconds the spark ignitor needs a replacement. If it is an electric dryer you need to check the relay for the burner system first

Maytag dryer model sde4606ayw ser 12775126ev will not heat heating element checks ok and vent is not pluged.

First, with a volt meter, verify 220 volts at the terminal block where the cord attaches to the dryer. Look for a burned or broken wire here also.
On the face of the heater canister are 2 relays. Part #3700135 is a thermal fuse. part #37001133 is a thermostat limit switch. With a volt meter set for ohms or continuity read these 2 relays. If you get no reading replace them. It may be just the thermal fuse that reads bad. Replace both if either one reads bad.
If these relays are bad,you also want to check and clear the exhaust vent of lint or blockage.

Maytag SE1000 Dryer - high pitch buzz, then total non-start

Often, after a power surge that exceeds the parameters of surge suppression devices on the circuit board, the unit will do this. You will more than likely have a failed control board now and will need to replace it.

Neptune Dryer

My maytag neptune dryer quit heating, after my wife changed the temp setting on the console from regular, to extra low drying temperature. The heating element reads 10.5 ohms. The thermal cutoff reads 0.02 ohms. The hi-limit thermo reads 0.02 ohms. The power coming into the dryer is 240 volts. What can I check or need to replace.
