My Sony Ericsson J132 keeps saying 'Insert SIM' although the SIM (Orange) works in other phones. Is the phone faulty and is it easy to fix? Its not a SIM fault. Must be a cheap fix.
Phone is locked to Orange (I should have said) but SIM (Orange) I tried works on similar phone. No amount of re-inserting/cleaning helps.Any ideas as to the fault - do I need to download anything via the USB connector?Phone is locked to Orange (I should have said) but SIM (Orange) I tried works on similar phone. If your Sony Ericsson W880 phone displays an error message saying "Insert Sim" when you insert your sim card then your phone is probably network locked. To unlock it,visit the site WickedUnlock.com here they are providing this code at reasonable cost with easy step by step unlocking instructions and unlock it.
did you touch the gold connection lines on the back of the card? they are really senitive and your suppose to avoid touching them at all. Try gently cleaning them off and replace it back in your phone...also I know this sounds stupid but make sure the card isn't upside down..lol..
Ya it's possible to unlock your mobile using the code. This is the simple way of unlocking compare to hardware/cable. If you need an unlocking code contact your network provider or you can get the online providers like http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/unlock-your-phone/rs1wp2/ .They will help you to unlock your mobile permanently.
hi, have you tried inserting another sim card? try inserting another one and if you still get the same message it means the the memory space of the phone might be faulty...if after inserting another sim and it worked properly, it means that the sim card signal is week..it means you have to contact your service provider.
hi, its very possible the battery is faulty..or it could be that the application downloaded on the phone had helped in reducing the memory space on the phone...all you need to do is to delete some of those applications downloaded on the phone so as to give more space on the phone...lastly, you scan for virus.
to unlock ur se j132 you can either use another sim card
...or you could either get a little card it looks like a sim card and put it in your phone you can buy these from any phone shops and on the back of this card you will have a pin then you put the pin into yourphone and your phone will be unlocked.
i had this same problem now my phone works perfect
It sounds as if your SIM card is either expired, not activated or burnt to another number, Try it in another working Orange phone first, and then you can at least rule out a SIM problem.
