You might also wanna download again a different program, trial version or better yet a premium one. Trendmicro offers trial versions of their available programs.

i recommended to you to use Avast Internet Security or avast antivirus pro. but if you still wanna use your Out off date antivirus,you just set back time and date to one Month before or else (its up to you), After you restart your computer,that antivirus will active again. try it.
Be sure to keep your anti-virus up to date with the latest updates. If you cannot renew your subscription try a free alternative such as AVG or Avast! to provide at least some protection.

You will either have to purchase another subscription from Norton or use another anti-virus. I recommend using AVG, it is free for home users and ranks at the top with Symantec and McAfee. www.avg.com
Your Norton that you bought in 2005 has expired.
Normally, the anti virus protection, you buy, will have an expiration of 1 year or 2 years. It will only have more, if you have purchased the license for more. If not,that is why your Norton is out ot date. Expired 2006!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND NORTON Some useful information below. Hope it helps.

FREE SPYWARE Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Restart computer, then run Spybot to see what spyware comes up, AND DELET IT.
FYI---Virus Protection-- 2 programs of virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection. SO just download one.
Running Spybot Search & Destroy with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition. FREE
There are alot of $ anti-virus and Internet security programs out there, ie: Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender. If you would like to pay $ then get ***Kaspersky***-- 2010 , I feel that is the best for your money.

Hi, to try a "free trial" anti-virus protection; some product offer a 30 days trial, up to 90 days of free trial service, with the option to buy, and install the (Full) software after the trial expires. This is a link to one of the site:

You can affected by virus. Whatever antivirus may be used first u want to buy a full pack i.e total internet protection. I am using kaspersky anti-virus for past 1 year.
