Question about Motorola Mobility SLVR L7 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

No sound whatsoever

I originally has issues with the earpiece not being loud enough. I downloaded P2KTools and adjusted. Made no difference until today when I restarted the phone so it would recognize my microSD card. Then it was WAY loud. I went back to P2KTools to adjust, and now I have nothing. No sound, no ring, no beeps on the keypad, no speakerphone, no sound thru headphones, nothing. I did a master reset on the phone, and still nothing. My card works, and I can use iTunes, but not a peep from the phone. Any help?

Well this is why most things are done by the prfessionals you need now to take your phone to a mobile tech or mobile service center and have them correct this software issue on the main-board.....but if you use p2ktools did you not back p your firmware before adjusting the phone....if yes then just reload the backup firmwarew on to the phone and this should correct the issue with the sound.

Probe the Settings for how to pan the sound. If you do, put the slider to where you like it and that's it! If you don't find it, try going to a local mall to a BOSE store and see if the problem occurs with their demo products. More questions? Just post a comment! -Mr. W

Can't hear

Ok so you turned the volume right up and it didnt make a difference ?

well i'd suggest you take in into a cellular dealer, and have them look ate the speaker or the amplifer on the main board.. I could just be your speaker is shorting and needs to be replaced. If it works good on loud speaker, its deffenately the speaker or the amp..

N73 low sound for top loud speaker and earpiece when calling

HI, when a cell phone has Low sound for top loud speaker and earpiece when calling , it is when the loud speaker and the earpiece are weak to perform accurately and will need to be replace for better sound quality for your cell phone.

When a phone drops on the flow or water gets into it,might cause the hearing of the lod speaker sound to go weaker and weaker every time.

When you replace the ear piece and the speaker, you phone will work perfectly again.

If when you replace the speaker and soundisstillthe same , that means it's an IC chip problem inside the cell phone . An expert will help you on that.

Hope it helped.

Thanks for using fixya.

Cannot hear anything on receiving call bt able to hear with speaker on or on hand set......

you have to change your speaker (earpiece)
when you choose the loud speaker option,,
you will able to hear the voice,,why?because the sounds transfer from earpiece to buzzer..its same when you use headset..the sound from earpiece will transfer to headset speakers..in that case,,you need to replace your earpiece..100% your problem will be solve!!

No sound whatsoever on LG KG800 Chocolate Phone

easiest way to solve this problem. go to call settings and TTY mode. and switch it to TTY + talk ... if that doesnt work then fiddle around with the other TTY settings untill it does. this disables the earpiece

How to import pictures from Motorola V3 phone to PC,

You will need the P2KTools and the USB Drivers. Try downloading them from here. http://p2ktools.en.softonic.com/java

If this does not work i can mail you the set that I use on a regular basis.

Hope this fixes your issue. Please mark as solved if it does.

Motorola v3i volume

If you have some experience with soft modding phones or are willing to learn, i believe P2ktools does this and more. There are guides around on the internet on its use.

The volume change options are under tools ->Change volume. Then click get to see your current settings and adjust accordingly. Its best these settings are kept below 4, except system tone. Once these are set simply click set to apply it.

Here's a link to p2ktools http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/165/28/
Make sure you get the english version :p (has ENG after it)

This site covers it i beleive after a quick google. Should apply to the v3i as well.
