My problem with my 2003 jeep liberty is it will only go to AM and FM. i always hear the cd changer making a jamming noise like something is blocking it. the player itself will not even go to CD mode now.

I have a sony cdx-1150 am/fm/cd player i put a cd in it and it was playing then iwent to eject it and it would not eject it .it gave me a error code e-99 what does this mean and how do i get cd out

The error message may be due to a fault with the laser pick up assembly. The problem could be that the lense is very dirty and the laser isn't reading the CD. You may want to try a cleaning CD, if it doesn't work a manual cleaning of the lense may need to be done. The number one cause of error messages is from a dirty lense, this will happen more often if you or someone riding in your vehicle smokes!

Clarion DB175 cd player

The Clarion manual lists 3 error messages.
Error 2-A disk is caught inside the CD deck and is not ejected.
Error 3-A disk cannot be played due to scratches, etc.
Error 6-A disc is loaded upside-down and cannot be played.

Good Luck.

Alpine CDM-9803 Cd Player

You need to visit Alpines' site to download the owner's manual for your unit. In the mean time here is some info from the troubleshooting guide for your error code.

• Mechanism error.
1. Press the "eject" button and eject the CD.
If not ejecting, consult your Alpine dealer.
2. When the error indication remains after ejecting,
press the "eject" button again.
If the error indication still does not turn off after
pressing the "eject" button for a few times, consult your
Alpine dealer.
Note
When the "- - - E" is displayed:
In case that the disc cannot be ejected by pressing the "eject"
button, press the RESET switch (refer to page 4) and
press the "eject" button again.
If not ejecting, consult your Alpine dealer.

Good luck.

Load problem and error message

Did you try to reset it? Look for a small button that only be press with a toothpicker or something that small. Another way to reset is to disconnect the battery. Goodluck.
