try doing the same on another pc.
if it happens again then there is a problam with the card/ or maybe with the service provider.

Drivers may be causing issue with pre-existing software. Uninstall drivers and software for webcam, then reinstall.
Update wireless driver.

i have had a similar problem before. if you touch the usb port w/ finger before yopu put in usb device does it still lock up comp. if not there is a grounding problem with port. you computer will not see it ever. check wireing to port and to riser on mother board. or add on pci card.

re install/repair the software

Sounds like a bad solder joint or break on the circuit board. If the data on it is important, you may need to use a data retrieval service.

Mine does that to. Make sure you can see the screen clearly when you plug it in. If it disconnects maybe it's because:

• wiggling to much- be gentle with it and set on a flat surface
• not in all the way- insert correctly and make sure it has a good connection (push it up gently)

Keep trying and you'll know when it connects, for it will appear on the screen. If continues, i might suggest and go buy a cheap dollar one.

what operating sytem are you running? what version of windows?

delete the software then reboot the pc and install the software once more then go to motodev.com and download the motorola usb driver (UNiversal) this should help.
