Seatbelt stuck on passenger seat headrest - 2009 Hummer H3

First off, are you able to move the seat forward, backward, or upward to free up the tension on the seat belt lock so you can again pull out slack? If not, are you able to raise or remove the headrest to create slack in the seatbelt and release the lock? Without a photo of the situation it's difficult to understand how you managed to get a seatbelt stuck around a headrest....

Pull real ******* the seat belt toward the retractor to unlock it, that pulling away from the seat.

try taking head rest off so you can get seatbelt past it make sure car is level

should be able to remove the headrest by simply lifting it up depending on the type?

Yes if you lift the headrest upwards it will raise and you may be able to lift it out, you may need to press a button on the seat top to do so.

Check the owner's manual. There is usually a release for the headrest hidden under it. If not, you may need to remove the back seat by pulling it away from the back of the car.

Another fix if all else fails is to carefully remove the trim panel where the seat belt retractor is and then disconnect the retractor, reclaim the belt and then securely refasten it.

try putting a small screwdriver into the slots around the pole white ring on the bottom of headreat and pulling it out at same time. I would recommend two people doing this.

haha we know you didnt do it on purpose, without seeing your problem and the hard to describe issue, i can only recommend to maybe try folding the seat to the cargo position, if that helps. if not, then you will more than likely need to disassemble the rear quarter panel, and unbolt the seat belt retractor from the body of the vehicle. sorry but there is no other way

push the button down and give it a few light taps down on the head rest.. it might be stuck
