If the correction does all the movements it is supposed to make and won't lift off you may have a non correctable ribbon or the L/O may be installed wrong the dull side must face the paper.

How to install corrector tape into AX325. Seems to be in place and black ribbon seems to be in place but corrector tape does not work

Be sure the correction tape is thru both guides and that the dull side faces the paper. Go to brother.com click on support you will find a manual there.

Lift Off tape is not working we bought brand labeled for Brother typewriters. It fits but does not lift off.

Possibly the tape is not on correctly. the dull side of the tape must be toward the paper.

Hi, my Brother DCP-115C Brother printer keeps telling me my black ink is empty despite putting brand new cartridges in, can you offer any help. Thanks.

Black electrical tape is the answer and it’s because the tape is BLACK. Even if u put black tape on an empty cartage the printer will still try to print.

The tape goes on the side of the cartage that faces the back of the printer (where the sensor must be).

CORRECTION TAPE

correction tapes will not work with multistrike ribbons. You have to use a correctable ribbon. If you can find a white out tape, it will work with multistrike. What model typewroter do you have?

Wrong letters typing

it sounds like you were using a non-brother correction tape, one that was too sticky and consequently too "slow" and during the correction sequence the fingers of the daisy-wheel got entangled with the tape. Make sure that the correction tape is of a "non-sticky" nature and then take off the correction and printing tapes. That way you will see better how the daisy-wheel is fitted . I will assume that you have an instruction book to show how this is done. before fitting the daisy wheel examine the fingers to see that none are bent or crossed over each other. If this is the case it is better to buy another one. bring your typewriter to the shop if this is the case and they will possibly re-fit the wheel for you. good luck.....

Labels are not printing correctly

Brother P-Touch tape label maker doesn't print right.

I believe it's a faulty tape. I put in a new tape, reset the machine and it's now printing fine. It wasn't the reseting - I tried that before.
